An International Flavour
Almost 40% of all people who worship at New Springs are not British. We have people who meet with us from numerous countries around the world.
So it really doesn’t matter who you are or where in the world you are from, you will always receive a warm welcome at New Springs. Nothing would please us more than to see within our congregation people from every continent, tribe and nation – a little bit of Heaven on earth!
We have links with churches and ministries all over the world. Not only do we have a desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in Loughborough and the surrounding areas of Charnwood, our vision extends to our nation, and indeed to the very ends of the earth.
Over the years we have sent mission teams to many places both home and abroad. For example – Sunderland, Stoke on Trent and Africa as well as other folk from the church having been on fact-finding missions to South Africa, America, and Colombia.
The town of Loughborough and the Borough of Charnwood is a thriving, multi-national centre nowadays drawing people from a plethora of nations. Different colours, cultures, languages and backgrounds are all very much a part of the fabric of this strategically located place.
With many international groups living in the town and of course with great numbers of people travelling from literally all over the globe to study and do research at the university and the college, its international status is ever growing.
With many people from overseas, home, family and friends can seem a million miles away. We want to welcome everyone and do our very best to create a church community where people really can feel it is ‘home from home.’
